Contract Length : 872 total hours ( 40 hrs / week; 8 hrs / day )
Overview
Provide servant-leadership and mentorship to multiple cross-functional Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, and XP . Coach teams on effective practices, foster self-organization and continuous improvement , visualize work with information radiators, and remove impediments so teams deliver consistent value.
Primary Responsibilities
- Apply a broad Agile toolkit ( user stories, story mapping, retros, ATDD / TDD, CI, pairing, information radiators ) to build high-performing teams.
- Facilitate ceremonies : planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews / demos, retrospectives , and problem-solving workshops.
- Promote transparency, collaboration, and iterative improvement ; curate team-level coaching content.
- Increase workflow visibility and help teams inspect / adapt using metrics and radiators.
- Proactively remove blockers and coordinate with external teams to keep delivery on track.
- Partner with other Agile leaders to mature Agile adoption across the organization.
- Mentor less-experienced Scrum Masters ; host learning opportunities (communities of practice, meetups, training).
- Adhere to risk and regulatory standards; design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls.
Supervisory / Managerial Responsibilities
Manages activities through influence, accountability, and ownership in an Agile environment (no direct reports).
Education and Experience Required
Bachelors degree and 4+ years on an Agile team, including 2+ years as a Scrum Master ;or in lieu of a degree, 8+ years combined experience with 4+ years on Agile teams and 2+ years as a Scrum Master.
Depth in at least two roles : project management, UX, business analysis, development, testing, deployment .Knowledge of Agile / Lean principles (SAFe familiarity a plus); experience developing / managing digital capabilities.Understanding of Design Thinking ; strong communication; proven ability to lead through influence.
