  • _Registered Respiratory Therapist _for NYS and NYC boroughs. We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of our growing Home Oxygen Equipment and Service team. This is a great opportunity to support our local Veterans.

  • Essential Functions :
  • The Registered
  • Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • is part of the talented
  • clinical
  • team
  • of their respective Branch. The Registered Respiratory Therapist will deliver Home Oxygen services, provide clinical evaluations and educate our home oxygen patients and caregivers.All RRTs must be licensed in the state of New York to begin employment. Licenses in PA, NJ, CT and DE must be obtained within 6 months to maintain employment. All additional licenses will be reimbursed by the company.
  • Qualifications :
  • Excellent customer service skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Problem solver who can multi-task.
  • Ability to read and interpret prescriptions, and document patient services in the company patient applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience & Education :
  • Must be Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Associate degree or equivalent; or two to four years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Home ventilator experience - Preferred.
  • Home care and / or DME experience - Preferred
  • Employment is Contingent On :
  • Successful Background Investigation, PPD, Drug Screen and a Valid Drivers License in state of residence with a clean driving record. Panakeia LLC is a federally regulated organization. Drug screening will include testing for THC unless an active medical card / prescription is provided.
