Center Supervisor / Lead Teacher

Pay rate :

BA-$2,084.80 biweekly

AA-$2,078.40 biweekly

On waiver-$2,061.60 biweekly

Center Supervisor / Lead Teacher :

We are looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Center Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Head Start centers and ensure that local, state, and federal childcare requirements are met.

The responsibilities of the Supervisor include :

  • Communicating with parents, and the community
  • Supervising and monitoring all Head Start staff working at the assigned center(s).
  • The applicant will be collaborating with a team of teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure that our students receive the best education we can provide.
  • As a minimum requirement :

  • The applicant must have an associate or baccalaureate degree in child development or early childhood education, or equivalent coursework.
  • The applicant may also be enrolled in an associate or baccalaureate degree program in early childhood education, or a related field and must be able to obtain the degree within a reasonable timeframe after the initial date of hire.
  • Two years of experience working with young children and families and the ability to meet the state requirement(s) for “site director”.
  • Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week, 44 weeks per year)
