We are looking for a full-time PACU RN to join our Everett Road Ambulatory Surgery Center team! The PACU RN will assist in providing high quality care during the post-op phase of the patient's visit.

Schedules are Monday through Friday; No weekends, holidays, or on-call.

Pay is based on years of experience

Responsibilities :

• Assess patients’ post-operative condition;
• Monitor vital signs and other measurements of progress to ensure patient is meeting discharge criteria;
• Document all findings in patient files;
• Answer patient questions to ensure patient comfort;
• Monitor patients for condition changes, report any changes to physician;
• Perform intervention duties during post-operative emergencies;
• Gather pertinent medical history and provide concise instruction for pre-operative and post-operative care;
• Delivers organized care by prioritizing care needs and tasks effectively. Positively adapts to changes in patients condition, assignment and expectations. Maintains clean, orderly environment of care.
• Other responsibilities as needed / assigned.
