Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week inpatient rehab contract requiring 1 year of experience, BLS, and a WI state license (pending accepted).

Responsibilities

  • Work in both inpatient and outpatient rehab settings
  • Floating between Woodruff and Minocqua locations is required
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm with a 30-minute lunch
  • Every third weekend shift with a 4-hour Saturday requirement, subject to change
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
  • All documentation and compliance requirements must be completed within specified deadlines to avoid delayed starts
  • Travelers cannot live within a 60-mile radius of the facility; local travelers will not be considered
  • Returning travelers may work no more than 52 weeks and must take a one-year break before returning
  • Labs and designated appointments must be completed within 48 hours of signing
  • Modules are completed during orientation and are billable up to 8 hours

  • Current BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
  • Active WI PT license required or pending license accepted; license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 1 year physical therapy experience required
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor
  • Credentialing documents including resume, transcript or diploma, and references must be submitted within 1 week of signing
