Contract Mammography Technologist

Location : The Woodlands, TX

Shift Timing : 7am-3 : 30pm

Job Description :

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Mammography Technologist to join the Outpatient Imaging department for our client located in The Woodlands, TX.

This 13wk contract position, 7 : 00 am-3 : 30 pm (Monday-Friday)

Scrub color : Pink or black

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform mammography exams, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients, administer contrast when necessary, and ensure high-quality imaging.
  • Enter and monitor patient data and perform quality assurance on equipment.
  • Assist with ACR accreditation applications.
  • Report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to management.
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment for patients and staff.
  • Support team goals and mentor less experienced staff.

    • Qualifications :

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum 2 current years experience working a Mammo Tech.
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • ARRT registered in Radiology (ARRT-R) and Mammography (ARRT-M).
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support by the American Heart Association.
  • EPIC Charting experience, DEXA Scan

    • Requirements :

  • Titers (MMR, Varicella, Hep B)
  • TDAP vaccine (booster every 10yrs)
  • TB Skin test or Chest x-ray current
  • Transcripts for highest level of education.
  • Seasonal Flu vaccine
  • Driving License
  • Social Security Card

    • Pay Details : \nLocal Pay : $69 / hr(Below 50 Miles)\n\nTravel Pay : \nTotal Non-Taxable Pay (Weekly) : $1,456\nTotal Taxable Pay (Weekly) : $1500\nGross Total Pay (Weekly) : $2956
