As the Sr. Rebate Administrator, you will be an integral member of a team that negotiates, evaluates, and executes sales contracts for U.S. markets. The Sr. Rebate Administrator will be assigned to process one or more of the following : Managed Care rebates, Medicaid claims, government and Trade / Mail Order claims, and wholesaler fees.

Location : Hybrid - Parsippany, NJ

What you will be doing :

  • Preparing / maintaining contract parameters in Ascensia's contracting operational systems, including customer membership / plans / affiliations, products, prices, performance tiers, eligibility periods, and rebate rates.
  • Entering customer utilization data to support accurate calculation of rebates. Ensuring data is error-free and loaded correctly in operational systems.
  • Reviewing and processing all claims accurately, identifying possible disputes.
  • Working with internal / external customers to resolve outstanding disputes in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing proposed changes to contract terms and providing feedback to the Strategy team as needed.
  • Providing claim processing reports and metric tracking statistics to departmental management on a regular basis to provide visibility as to the status, volume, and potential liability of future rebates, fees, and other payments.
  • Developing SOPs and user guides, and expanding / updating existing documentation.
  • Identifying needs to improve operations and processes of the group.

Skills you will need :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience processing one or more of the following : Managed Care rebates, Medicaid claims, government and commercial chargebacks, and / or wholesaler fees within a pharmaceutical or medical device company.
  • Knowledge and experience in interpreting commercial and government contracts.
  • Track record of developing and providing data analyses and reporting.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Contract Management Systems, such as Model N (or other comparable system).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Prior role as a Business User in the implementation of a Contract Management System is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in using analytics platforms and data visualization tools, such as Incorta, Tableau, Looker, or Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
