California Licensed ASL Interpreter

A company is looking for a Virtual ASL Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate interpretation of spoken language to sign language and vice versa in educational settings

Support students in general education classrooms, assisting with core subjects

Work according to the school district's calendar as a 1099 Independent Contractor

Required Qualifications

Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf or equivalent qualification

Proof of 48 semester units from an accredited college or university, or an Associate's degree or higher

Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet

Participation in a virtual skills demonstration and background check is required

Prior online interpreting experience is preferred
