A company is looking for a Billing Specialist I to provide customer service and perform clerical and administrative tasks related to billing and authorization.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain and maintain accurate patient, billing, and insurance information
Review and reconcile billing reports and ensure accurate submission of claims
Coordinate communications with payers to enhance billing practices and reimbursement opportunities
Required Qualifications
High school education or equivalent
Minimum of one year of experience in auditing or data analytics
Experience in a medical office is preferred
Knowledge of EMR systems (NextGen and / or OnBase) is preferred
Familiarity with DME / Orthotic practices is preferred
