Responsibilities & Expectations :   Southland Electrical Supply, an IPS Company, is seeking a dedicated Bucket Wiring Technician for the Motor Control Center (MCC) area to conduct bucket wiring and reconditioning of electrical parts. In this position, you will work with electrical components to rebuild, test, and certify for re-deployment. This position requires a motivated, detail-oriented team member with the ability to learn quickly, work safely, and who possesses a strong mechanical aptitude.

• Recondition Motor Control Center (MCC) buckets to meet both company quality assurance and PEARL™ standards.
• Confirm all correct electrical components are available and install in motor control center (MCC) buckets
• Ensure all electrical components are available to install, meet quality standards, and are certified for re-deployment.
• Must properly maintain and wear acceptable Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required for each task.
• Perform all work in accordance with safety protocol.
• Participate in the following certifications : Pearl Level I and II, Forklift training, 15+ TSC Electrical Training Classes (completed within one year of hire date), 10-30 hour OSHA card, PPE.
• Ability to work overtime. Mandatory overtime is required based on business need.
• Additional duties as assigned by your manager.
