HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.

Job Description & Requirements

Assignment Details :

  • Duration : 16–32 weeks
  • Schedule : Rotating between day and evening shifts

    • Typical pattern : three day shifts plus one off-shift

  • Off-shift options : 8 : 45 AM–7 : 15 PM, 10 : 45 AM–9 : 15 PM, or 12 : 45 PM–11 : 15 PM
  • Call : One weekday call per week + one 24-hour call every 4-week schedule block
  • Must be flexible to meet unit and patient care needs
  • Holiday requirement : Must work 2 of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)
  • Orientation : Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available 11 / 17)
  • Work week : Monday–Sunday
  • No block scheduling

    • Requirements :

  • Prior travel experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
  • Experience in a large academic Level 1 Trauma facility required
  • EPIC experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable)
  • Must be able to circulate all specialties except CVOR
  • Must be able to scrub General, GU, GYN, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Thoracic, and Vascular cases
  • Complete skills checklists for both circulating and scrubbing required
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Submission must include full work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)

    • Additional Information :

  • IVS to offer
  • Distance is measured by a straight line (not driving distance)
  • Public transportation is not accessible — personal or rental vehicle required
  • All-season or snow tires recommended from November to April
