• Overview

We are hiring Distribution Field Technicians to support a Power Distribution Engineering team. In this role, you will be inspecting power poles and underground electrical distribution systems, documenting conditions, and preparing work orders to keep electrical systems running safely and reliably. • Responsibilities
• Inspect overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electrical distribution facilities.
• Collect and document field data.
• Prepare minor work orders and maintenance reports.
• Assist with storm damage assessments.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and agencies.
• Work closely with a dedicated mentor who will provide training and ongoing guidance.
• Qualifications
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Interest in learning AutoCAD, GIS mapping software, or electrical design tools.
• Experience in electric utilities, power distribution, telecom, or similar is a plus.
• Comfortable working in the field and on the move, rather than at a desk.
• Proven record of reliability, strong attendance, and attention to detail.
• Must be a US Citizen with a valid driver’s license and high school diploma.

Job Types : Full-time, Contract

Pay : $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
