Overview

UA will assist electricians during the installation of new electrical systems or repair and maintain electrical systems. They must be in compliance with state and local wiring codes. This is considered to be a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Install communications and computer equipment.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Productively and safely install wire and electrical cable which they measure, cut, bend and thread through metal tubing called conduits.
• Assist in splicing wires at juncture points and feed / pull wiring into control centers and distribution boxes, transformers and transducers, switch gear and electrical outlets, and other permanent equipment.
• Cleanup activity.
• Gathering and transporting materials and tools to electricians on the construction project.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures included in the Bergelectric Corp. Employee Handbook.
