Oar Staffing is conducting a search for an
Electrical / Electronic
Firmware Engineer for a MANUFACTURING client in the Akron area.
THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE
Salary Range : $90K - $100K
Brief Details about the Opportunity :
- Understand Electrical Current Theory
- Troubleshoot circuitry related to PCB & circuitry
- Write, test, and debug firmware for embedded systems using C and C++
- Conduct system-level testing to identify and resolve issues related to firmware and hardware interaction
- Design, develop, and maintain low-level software that controls hardware devices
- Knowledge of Microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM, AVR, PIC) and peripheral interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, USB)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and datasheets
- Linux experience is a PLUS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
