Position Overview

While this position is primarily remote, candidates must reside in Massachusetts (not necessarily in Beverly, MA).

A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license are required since some provider education sessions at practices will be part of the role, in addition to conducting virtual patient sessions.

Be part of this exciting team! Ixcela is seeking a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about helping patients be better by using testing data to guide interventions. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is excited to learn about the future of personalized wellness, communicate that passion with others, and thrives in an environment where testing, learning, and iteration are the norm. Excellent communication skills, persistence, and a positive attitude are a must. All specialized training for this position is provided.

Must have :

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition as a Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist
• State RDN license in Massachusetts with CDR
• 3 years of experience or more counseling patients
• Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and maintain active automobile insurance
• Strong communication skills and the and ability to explain health-related topics
• Understanding of how to counsel patients using motivational interview techniques
• Ability to research health science-related topics and apply them to their practice
• Curiosity to learn about gut health and how nutrition and lifestyle interventions affect it
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to think creatively and problem-solve common barriers to reaching health
• Strong time-management skills
• A willingness to collaborate with a team to support Ixcela patients
• A positive attitude and an eagerness to problem-solve
