Job Description

Position Title : Pharmacy Technician (Contract to Hire)

Location : Pharmacy Fulfillment Center, Overland Park, KC

Licensing Requirements :

  • Must possess national pharmacy technician certification.
  • Must hold a valid Kansas state pharmacy technician license, PTCB

Work Hours :

  • Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.

    • Team Structure : Supervisor, Lead, Pharmacy Technicians

    Ideal Candidate Background :

  • Previous pharmacy technician experience is required.
  • Must hold national pharmacy technician certification and an active Kansas state pharmacy technician license.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Accurately fill prescriptions according to established protocols.
  • Perform down-stocking and inventory management.
  • Cross-train and assist in multiple areas of the pharmacy as needed.
  • Safely lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain high standards of attendance, accuracy, and attention to detail.

    • Required Skills / Attributes :

  • Strong attendance and reliability.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

  • Consistent reliability and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Interview Process :

  • One round of interviews with department supervisors.
  • Interviews may be conducted via phone, video, or in-person.
  • The interview is non-technical, focused on experience and fit for the role.
