Job Title : Test Engineer - Systems Integration and Evaluation Specialist

Location : Cape Canaveral and / or Vandenberg AFB, CA

Job Description :

We are looking for a Test Engineer specializing in systems integration and evaluation, with a focus on Eastern and Western Range systems, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating hardware, software, communications systems, networks, and launch systems. They should be proficient in developing and executing test and evaluation strategies, plans, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement test and evaluation strategies for Eastern and Western Range systems integration projects.

2. Write, review, and update test and evaluation master plans, test plans, and test procedures to ensure thorough evaluation of system components.

3. Manage and conduct tests to validate system functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements.

4. Act as a witness observer or directly execute tests to collect data, analyze results, and recommend improvements.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues related to systems integration and modernization.

6. Stay informed on industry best practices, standards, and technologies related to testing and evaluation.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in testing and evaluating complex systems, particularly in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Proficiency in creating test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to engage with stakeholders and team members.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support testing activities on Eastern and Western Range systems.
