Restaurant Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager at Baker's Crust Artisan Kitchen in Ashburn, Virginia, is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations; managing the dining room, bar, and host / hostess team to ensure exceptional customer service and an overall positive dining experience for guests; and managing the kitchen for proper food preparation, safety and sanitation. The Assistant Manager will lead by example, providing guidance and support to staff members while also handling any customer complaints or issues that may arise, and report to the General Manager in-charge. Pay Range : $20.00 - 23.00 per hour

Full-time Benefits Available : Medical / Dental / Vision / Telehealth ; Life and Supplemental Insurance; 401(k) Plan

Hours of Operation : 9am - 9pm Tuesday through Saturday; 9am - 3pm Sunday

Responsibilities :

  • Supervising and scheduling restaurant staff
  • Training new employees on proper service and food preparation techniques and company policies
  • Maintaining a clean, organized work environment
  • Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for supplies
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

  • Minimum one (1) year restaurant management experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and work in confined spaces.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work
