Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Postpartum (PP)

Shifts Available : Day and Night Shifts

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) - PP to provide postpartum care on a per diem basis . This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a high-acuity, dynamic environment . Call us at (469) 491-5080 to learn more!

Responsibilities :

• Assess the physical and emotional needs of new mothers and their newborn
• Provide education and support to new mothers on infant feeding, care, and mother-baby bonding
• Monitor maternal and newborn vital signs and assist with any medical concerns
• Facilitate communication and coordination between the mother, family, and healthcare team
• Assist with medical procedures and treatments as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for new mothers and their families

Qualifications :

Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.

Minimum of 2 years of PP experience or similar setting.

Strong familiarity with high volume maternity ward setting

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to stay calm and prioritize tasks in emergency situations .

Schedule Requirements :

Per Diem, flexible schedule

Must be available for at least 1 shift per week, with weekend availability preferred
