This position is for our location in TOBYHANNA , PA and it is PART TIME with hours M - F 12 : 30pm to 6pm
MUST HAVE :
1. 2 Years of childcare experience AND / OR
2. CDA or degree in education or related field.

Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic teaching assistant to join our team! You will be assisting the head teacher with planning and implementing both whole-classroom and small-group instruction.
You are passionate about learning and love working with children. With strong creative and organizational skills, you are able to connect with individual students and develop strong relationships with faculty to create an engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities :
Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups to help them master assignments and to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachersSupervise students in classrooms, halls, , schoolyards, and playgroundsProvide extra assistance to students with special needsObserve students performance and record relevant data to assess progressTeach social skills to studentsQualifications :
High school diploma or GED + CDA or Degree in education or related fieldAbility to pass a state and federal background check2 years of previous teaching assistant experience preferredHigh-energy with a love of working with childrenOrganized and detail-oriented
