Beloit College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of psychology to begin in August 2026. A Ph.D. in psychology or a closely related field is required; candidates who are ABD and expect to complete their Ph.D. by August 2026 will also be considered. While the position is open to applicants across the sub-disciplines of psychology and other mental health / service-related disciplines, preference is for candidates with clinical or service-oriented experience or who can speak to applications of mental health. The successful candidate must exhibit exceptional enthusiasm for, and commitment to, undergraduate teaching and advising and must demonstrate pedagogies or research that align with or will engage our increasingly diverse student body and interdisciplinary curriculum. We seek a colleague who will foster student research and involve students in their professional scholarship, so experience mentoring undergraduates is a plus. The standard teaching load is six courses per year.
