Job Summary

We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team at Mossy of Picayune. As a BDR, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying leads, building relationships, and setting the stage for successful vehicle sales. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to contribute to our dealership's success. Experience is a plus but not required. We value enthusiasm, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation : Proactively identify and research potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking.
  • Qualify Leads : Engage with prospects to understand their vehicle needs, assess fit, and qualify opportunities for the sales team.
  • Build Relationships : Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers to foster trust and long-term loyalty to Mossy of Picayune.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team : Partner with Sales Consultants to hand off qualified leads and ensure a smooth transition in the sales process.
  • Market Research : Stay informed about automotive industry trends, General Motors products, competitors, and market opportunities to refine outreach strategies.
  • CRM Management : Accurately log and track all activities, leads, and interactions in the dealership's CRM system.
  • Achieve Targets : Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for lead generation, outreach, and sales pipeline development.

Qualifications

  • Mindset : High-energy, self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow in an automotive sales career.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse customers.
  • Adaptability : Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment and adapting to evolving priorities.
  • Team Player : Collaborative attitude with a willingness to work closely with sales teams.
  • Experience

    Prior sales or business development experience, especially in automotive, is a plus but not necessary; we welcome candidates with a strong drive to succeed.
