Looking for a highly compensated, flexible practice that allows you to live where you want? Hamilton County Hospital (Syracuse, KS) offers two physician models designed for lifestyle, balance, and stability.

You don t need to relocate to rural Kansas many of our physicians live in Oklahoma City (our headquarters), Denver, or Wichita and commute for scheduled weeks.

Option 1 : Single Physician Model

  • Compensation : $400,000-$425,000 / year
  • Schedule & Flexibility :
  • 26 weeks / year on-site (2 out of every 4 weeks)
  • 16 weeks / year remote supervision of APPs (from home or locally)
  • 10 weeks vacation annually
  • Duties :
  • ER call (low volume, average 2 patients / 24 hrs) from home
  • Inpatient rounding : Acute daily, Skilled weekly, LTC monthly
  • Outpatient clinic (M F)
  • Occasional executive team visits to other hospitals
  • Census : 3 4 ADC acute / skilled, 13 LTC, 8 clinic

Option 2 : Two-Physician Team Model

  • Compensation : $300,000 / year each
  • Schedule & Flexibility :
  • Shared 26 weeks / year of community call / coverage
  • Coordinate coverage with partner to minimize travel frequency
  • 25 weeks vacation annually
  • 1 week / year executive duties
  • Duties & Census : Same as above
