Job Title
The purpose of this class is to assist in the maintenance of county parks facilities.
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary.
Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Requires six months of experience operating small engine equipment or closely related experience.
Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement. Unavoidable hazards refer to the job conditions that may lead to injury or health hazards even though precautions have been taken. The work is typically performed outdoors intermittently sitting, standing, bending, crouching, or stooping. The employee occasionally lifts light and heavy objects, climbs ladders, uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
The work is typically performed outdoors; possibly in cold and inclement weather. The employee is exposed to machinery with moving parts. The work requires the use of protective devices such as masks, eye protection, gloves, etc.

Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
