We are currently seeking dedicated Public Safety Officers to join our team. In this role, you'll receive comprehensive cross-training in Police, Fire, and Medical Services. Our department is committed to delivering top-notch service to an overwhelmingly supportive community. We offer paid sponsorships for qualified candidates, fostering a family-like work environment. The ideal candidate has any of the following certifications : MCOLES certified or certifiable, Firefighter I & II, and a Michigan medical license, but it is not required.   • Starting Wage is $56,351 (top pay : $84,502) New contract coming 7 / 1 / 25

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Valid State of Michigan Driver's License
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must meet the current selection and hiring standards of the Michigan Commission of Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES)
  • Must meet the current Michigan Fire Fighters Training Council (MFFTC)
  • Pass a comprehensive background investigation
  • Associate's degree or equivalent credit hours if pursuing a higher degree

    • Sucessfull applicants must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation as well as a drug screening test.
