Overview

Software Development Engineer, Live Sports - Prime Video. We’re looking for engineers to build and operate massively scalable systems that power live sports experiences, using the latest AWS technologies. You will join a team that values inclusion, experimentation, and collaboration to shape the product and technology roadmap.

What will you do?

Build personalized discovery experiences for thousands of live streaming events available worldwide using machine learning and distributed systems. Design and implement high-scale, high-performance, customer-friendly products and services to support billions of requests from Prime Video users. Work with AWS technologies including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and CloudFront to enable live events lifecycle management and discovery across devices (including Alexa) and offline engagement.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
