TIG Welder Pay Rate and Hours :
- Shift : 2nd (5pm - 3 : 30am)
- Pay : $28 / hr
Key Personnel seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team. This role is essential to the production of high-quality pressure vessels made from a variety of metal materials. The successful candidate will perform Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and ensure compliance with stringent quality and safety standards.
TIG Welder Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Operation of cranes, forklifts, and aerial liftsWelding of vessels through established manufacturing processes with minimum instruction and minimum supervisionPerform complete welding and finishing operations for the repair of units.Accurately maintain required records (production traveler, material traceability, and production records).Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areaMonitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needsAssist other new welders in learning welding skillsComplete and follow all safety procedures and policiesComplete company provided training to effectively perform required job responsibilitiesOther work as assignedTIG Welder Basic Requirements :
High School diploma or GEDCompletion of a Welder Training ProgramProficient in all positions with GTAWProficient in knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbolsProficient in welding best practicesProficient in visual inspectionTIG Welder Additional Requirements :
Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawlingFrequent pushing, pulling and handling of materialOccasional climbing and working at elevated positionsRepetitive hand movements during welding operationsTIG Welder Skills :
Must complete and pass welding testTig welding : Your weld test will consist of 2G aluminum plate test with backing GTAW. Additional testing in the 2G, 3G, and 6G for qualifications upon being hired.
