Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabrication Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating drawings and models for steel fabrication projects ensuring accuracy and adhering to industry standards. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and fabricators.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review drawings to identify necessary details and clarify discrepancies.
• Create detailed drawings and models for steel fabrication projects using CAD software.
• Responsible for issuing project details to the fabricators as required, including cut lists and DXF files to the laser.
• Assist in problem-solving during the fabrication process.
• Obtain competitive bids on materials, equipment and subcontracts.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions and related documentation.
