Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Client Representation : Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.

Elder Law Focus : Address the unique legal challenges faced by elderly clients, including long-term care planning, guardianship, Medicare / Medicaid issues, and elder abuse prevention.

Probate and Estate Administration : Assist clients in navigating the probate process, ensuring efficient administration of estates, resolution of disputes, and compliance with legal requirements.

Legal Research and Analysis : Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Document Drafting and Review : Prepare, review, and revise legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail to ensure they meet clients' needs and legal standards.

Client Communication and Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through clear communication, timely updates, and empathetic understanding of their circumstances.

Collaboration and Teamwork : Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions, share knowledge, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the firm.

Continuing Legal Education : Stay up-to-date with developments in estate planning, elder law, and probate to maintain expertise and provide clients with the most current and effective legal counsel.

Qualifications :

A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Active membership in the state bar association.

Proven experience in estate planning, elder law, and probate.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Strong ethical standards and professional integrity.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Demonstrated commitment to client service and achieving favorable outcomes.
