Texas Healthcare Job Details Location : Tyler, TX 75701 – East Texas healthcare jobs Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026) Shift : Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts / week (06 : 30 – 17 : 00), Monday–Friday, rotating day off Call : Required (1–2 shifts every 6 weeks) Unit : Operating Room (14 rooms) Patient Population : Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2020 - $2070 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Previous travel nursing experience required Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center required Expertise in ortho, general, neuro, vascular, and urology cases Valid Texas RN license BLS certification (required) NBSTSA certification (required) ACLS certification (preferred) Proficiency with Epic charting system Pediatrics and adolescent experience preferred Local candidates from specified counties are not eligible (see job details for exclusions) Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Circulate and / or scrub for a broad range of surgical procedures : trauma, ortho, neuro, vascular, urology, and robotic cases Demonstrate advanced aseptic technique and perform specialized procedures such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, femoral popliteal bypass graft, and more Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Deliver care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced clinical setting Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled Document patient care using Epic electronic health record system Discover rewarding Texas nursing jobs and experience the best of East Texas healthcare.
