Early Stage Collector I

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Early Stage Collector I to join their team. As an Early Stage Collector I, you will be part of the Collections Department supporting the Loan Servicing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Boise, ID

Pay Range : $18

What's the Job?

  • Initiate outbound and receive inbound calls from borrowers regarding overdue payments
  • Negotiate payment arrangements to help borrowers avoid mortgage delinquency
  • Review borrower accounts for home retention programs based on loan types
  • Educate borrowers on delinquency timelines and collection efforts
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDCPA, RESPA, and FCRA

What's Needed?

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience working in a call center preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • One to three years of experience in residential loan processing, real estate lending, loan servicing, or related fields
