Subcontract Management Senior

The Subcontract Management senior will be handling supplier source selection, purchase order placement and administration. Duties also include cost / price analysis, negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interface with functional organizations and supplier management. Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Procurement of build to principle.

This position is located in Fort Worth, TX. Discover Fort Worth. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. You must be a US Citizen and possess an Active Interim Secret Security Clearance to be considered.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college / university in a related discipline, or 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing / ERP system, such as Procure to Pay
  • Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
  • A history of increasing responsibility and team leadership
  • Experience in TINA Negotiations Experience or Competition Experience
  • Microsoft Office experience

Desired Skills :

  • 4+ years' experience in supply chain management, procurement or purchasing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in preparing Request for Proposal packages, evaluating supplier proposals, managing subcontracts and supplier relationships.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Work independently and in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
  • Risk Management and Development of mitigation plans with Suppliers, Supplier Performance Teams and Internal Customers.
  • Security Clearance Statement :

    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
