About The Position

Job Title : Physical Therapist

Experience : Minimum 1 year

License : Must hold an active license as a Physical Therapist in the state in which you intend to work

Certifications : Maintain and update PT skills and certifications as necessary

Must-Have :

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries for patient files.
• Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up.
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care.
• Communicate with physicians and other persons to ensure quality patient care.
• Be responsible for accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up regarding prescriptions, test results, authorizations, etc.
• Make sure patients are comfortable and answer questions when necessary.
• Work closely with front office staff regarding scheduling and patient follow-up.
• Have computer skills necessary to complete job requirements.
• Make independent decisions regarding patient care.
• Be involved in the business marketing and referral process when necessary.
• Be responsible for following privacy policies and procedures.
• Comply with OSHA, federal, and state regulations.
