About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BCLS preferred; ACLS and NIHSS are preferred

Must-Have :

Traveler experience with EPIC is required for first-time travelers

Skills in IV start, caring for telemetry patients, and knowing cardiac rhythms

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may lead to cancelation and DNR.

Target ratios on the unit are 1 : 6-7, with support plans in place for high census.

The unit accepts contracts for 13-16 weeks and may require floating to other units based on skill levels or tasks.

Candidates are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

No RTO is permitted during the first week of a traveler's assignment.

Daily patient diagnoses include medical and post-surgical patients with remote telemetry monitoring.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.

Candidates must be comfortable floating based on job description without restrictions.

References from managers or supervisors within the past 12 months are highly preferred.

Fatigue policy prohibits working more than 5 consecutive days or over 60 hours in a week.

Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, with hours varying by specialty.
