  • Level : Level IV NICU and Level I Pediatrics (includes Level I Pediatric ED)
  • Charting System : Cerner

    • Certifications Required

  • BLS
  • NRP
  • PALS
  • RRT
  • Florida State License
  • COVID-19 Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious Exemptions Accepted)

    • Required Experience and Skills

  • NICU
  • Pediatric Critical Care
  • Pediatrics

    • Special Requirements :

  • Airway management
  • Medication administration
  • Medication delivery systems (Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, MDI)
  • Nebulizer and O₂ therapy
  • Ventilator management (Neonatal / Pediatric)
  • Care of infants / children with :

    • Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia

  • Near Drowning
  • Respiratory Distress Syndrome
  • Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)
  • Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn
  • ABG interpretation
  • Basic EKG
  • Chest Physiotherapy and Vest use
  • Drawing arterial blood gases

    • Preferred EMR Experience : Cerner

  • Drawing and interpretation of ABGs

  • High-frequency oscillator
  • SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation)
  • Troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
  • Weaning from mechanical ventilation
