Parker Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to design, implement, and review manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5-8 years of experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing complex manufacturing and assembly of new and existing products, identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and driving operational excellence. They will also develop advanced manufacturing techniques, test new systems and methods for efficiency, and plan assembly layouts to optimize production, quality, cost, and safety.
Essential Functions :
- Lead multi-disciplined problem-solving and project teams, including root cause corrective action, kaizen, and other continuous improvement activities.
- Plan and design complex manufacturing processes to improve the manufacture and assembly of new and existing products.
- Develop and implement process improvement projects focusing on manufacturing efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost.
- Provide engineering design support, recommending design concepts for engineering leadership.
- Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations for multiple solution lines.
- Investigate and take corrective action to ensure product quality and resolve quality issues.
- Create technical reports, charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system operating characteristics.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred) with 5-8 years of experience.Advanced knowledge and ability to apply concepts of engineering to multiple solution lines.Ability to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving.Ability to work effectively with CAD / CAM systems and standard business application software.Ability to develop new procedures to solve problems and read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications.Parker offers a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and career development opportunities.
