Job Title : Employee Relations Manager

Location : Piscataway, NJ

Type of Employment : Temporary 3 to 6 months

In Office / Hybrid / Remote : Fully in Office

Hourly : $58 / hr to $60 / hr

Job Summary :

A healthcare facility is partnering with LHH to hire a temporary Employee Relations Manager for 3 to 6 months with a possibility of extension. The hours are Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM. The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, and at least 3 years of prior employee relations experience with thorough investigations. Prior healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities :

  • Travel between 5 locations within central NJ
  • Oversee various HR tasks with a strong focus on policy interpretation
  • Review policies and procedures and recommend policy updates as needed
  • Conduct thorough investigations related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation and policy violations
  • Keep accurate documentation of investigations
  • Stay up to date with state regulations
  • Partner with managers on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, suspensions, etc.

Required Experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
  • At least 3 years of employee relations experience
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws
  • Prior use of HRIS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel to 5 locations within central NJ
