LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Internal Medicine MD in New York!

About The Position

We are seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Nov 3, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday clinic schedule with shift hours from 9 : 30am to 5 : 00pm, working alongside cardiology to support patients' primary care needs.

  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 30am-5 : 00pm

Responsibilities and Duties

  • See and treat patients in a clinical setting
  • Run diagnostic testing as indicated
  • Collaborate closely with the cardiology team to manage patients' primary care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical protocols

    • Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • New York medical license required
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
  • Preference for candidates with at least 2-3 years of experience, though recent graduates will be considered
  • Must confirm insurance enrollment status for New York insurances
