  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 13 / 2025 – End : 1 / 10 / 2026)\n
  • Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend\n
  • Holiday Expectations : Work 75% of holidays\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy\n

  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570–$1680\n
  • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
  • Minimum 18 months of recent Med / Tele or PCU RN experience\n
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification\n
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification\n
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification\n
  • Strong PCU nursing skills : cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke care, trach care, chest tube management, IV therapy\n
  • Ability to float to other healthcare units or facilities in the region as needed\n
  • \n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients with diagnoses including stroke, heart failure, chest pain, COPD, GI disorders, liver failure, and renal conditions\n
  • Manage critical care drips (Insulin, Nitroglycerin, Cardene, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Heparin) and blood products\n
  • Perform and manage procedures : PIV starts, NGT placement, drain / tube management (Dobhoff, PEG, Hemovac, JP drains, Foley), and PCA pumps\n
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies appropriately\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomy, IV / VAT team, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, intensivists\n
  • Utilize EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors\n
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training to maintain high standards of patient care\n
