Overview

Project Mechanical Engineer - Data Center (Hybrid) at Olsson. The role involves managing and leading mechanical design for large, complex data center projects, acting as project manager on some assignments and lead design engineer on others. Responsibilities include preparing planning and design documents, processing design calculations, developing and maintaining standards, leading quality assurance / quality control, and coordinating with Olsson teams, clients, and consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager on selected projects and lead design engineer on others.
  • Prepare planning and design documents and perform design calculations.
  • Develop and maintain team and client standards.
  • Lead quality assurance / quality control on complex projects.
  • Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and external consultants.

Qualifications

  • 6 years of related mechanical engineering experience required.
  • Proficient in Revit.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer.
