Job Summary :

The RAVE Commercial Lead Installer will support and lead all aspects of fulfillment for RAVE projects assigned. This will include work in the shop as well as work in the field as business needs dictate. This role will be based day to day in Burnsville, but require up to 50% travel within the United States.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Performs early phase project installation work that occurs in the shop such as custom fabrication, rack population, wiring, set-up and configuration of systems prior to shipping to fulfillment site
  • Coordinates externally with local trades and clients to navigate through timing and execution of projects
  • Travel to out-of-market fulfillment sites within the United States to perform field installation and commissioning will be required
  • Supporting planning and organizing projects
  • Coordinates internally with other support departments such as Project Leads, Plan Engineers, Operations team to ensure successful preparation that ensures smooth project execution.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by senior leadership.

Required Skills and Attributes :

  • Extensive hands-on installation skills and working knowledge of AV and networking systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to collaborate directly with other trades and clients on-site
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity software
  • Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record per company policy; able to air travel frequently
  • Ability to pass standard background and motor-vehicle checks, consistent with applicable law

    • Required Education and Experience :

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of A / V and networking field installation experience

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and manual work typical of field installations including ladders and lifts
  • Ability to travel and work independently at out-of-market sites
  • Ability to lift 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to use common tools associated with field installation of AV and networking systems in commercial environments
  • Manual dexterity and close visual acuity to perform wiring and equipment assembly
