We are looking for a new Assistant Manager for our MANAYUNK Shop! Located on Main Street, this shop just recently opened and the neighborhood has been so excited to have us! We do our absolute very best to take great care of them as well.
We thrive under pressure, have a blast servicing our customers, and take great pride in creating the same wonderful high quality product over and over again.
We want someone for this position who has a desire to be a leader and wants to work in management, as well as someone who has Front of House and Back of House experience. We want someone who takes great pride in keeping the staff on track during busy times, keeping morale high, taking care of customers, staying calm and organized during a rush / long lines, and always making sure all tasks are being completed properly and efficiently. Holding our staff accountable is a high priority as well. You would be working directly under the lead shop manager.
We expect this position to work five days per week. Schedule is Friday-Tuesday, with Days off being Wednesday and Thursday. Open weekend availability is a must.
Between online orders and in house, it's very busy for the bulk of the shift, so be ready for that! Everyone works together as a team, and checks their ego at the door. No task is above or below anyone.
This job requires both back of house (Sandwich Making, Veggie Prep) as well as Front of House (Register, Coffee, Restocking the customer fridge) tasks. Managers are also responsible for running expo, assisting with ordering, and even scheduling.
