To be considered you will need
Current license to practice profession in the State of MAGraduation from an accredited school of occupational therapist assistant is requiredAt least one year of experience as a COTAResident Care :
Administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healingAssure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of careProvide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregiversMonitor patient response to treatment interventionComplete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state / federal regulationsTraining / Education :
Participate in collaborative care conferencesCoordinate and provide training with Restorative Nursing and other Care staffProvide education and training to patient, caregiver, and community partnersAssist with training and education of facility and professional partnersEnsure compliance with mandatory education, training and competency programsParticipation in COTA student development and educational programs
