What You Will Do as a Home Health and Hospice Director of Business Development

As Director of Business Development for Home Health and Hospice you will lead and manage the Business Development team to drive referral growth and expand market presence. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral sources. You will collaborate closely with clinical and operational leadership to ensure seamless communication, high-quality service delivery, and strong customer satisfaction. As a key member of the leadership team, you will monitor market trends, implement strategic growth initiatives, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards while achieving organizational goals.

Some of your primary responsibilities will include :

• Create and manage sales performance goals for the region.
• Monitor and direct the business development staffing strategy.
• Ensure that sales team has necessary training and resources to drive business from physicians, facilities, and other referral sources.
• Create and direct the region's enterprise growth strategy partnering with health care providers to ensure a continuum of care.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure successful execution of the region's operational growth strategy.
• Function as a member of the executive management team for the region.
• Ensure that company compliance, performance, and HR guidelines are maintained in the region.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance.
• Hold employees accountable for the attainment of defined goals and objectives.
• Execute effective performance redirection when needed.
• Develop employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal / on the job training and development opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
