Traveling Superintendent / Foreman
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent / Foreman to lead field operations on complex power delivery, industrial, and general construction projects across the U.S. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience leading crews on multi-discipline projects and thrives in a dynamic, travel-based work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crews, subcontractors, and craft labor to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within scope.
- Plan and manage site logistics, equipment utilization, and material deliveries.
- Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to interpret drawings, resolve field issues, and maintain progress.
- Enforce all company and client safety policies; lead daily safety meetings and site audits.
- Track and report progress, manpower, and material usage to project management.
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Support QA / QC documentation, inspections, and turnover processes.
- Oversee mobilization, site setup, and demobilization activities for multiple project locations.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to support successful project outcomes.
The Successful Applicant :
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in power delivery (transmission, substation, or distribution), industrial construction, or general construction environments.Strong background in field leadership, scheduling, and multi-trade coordination.Comprehensive knowledge of construction sequencing, safety practices, and quality standards.Proven ability to lead diverse crews and communicate effectively across project teams.Proficient in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project documents.Ability and willingness to travel extensively to job sites nationwide.Preferred :
Prior experience supporting EPC contractors, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR, or other relevant safety certifications.Familiarity with civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work.CDL or heavy equipment operator certifications a plus.What's on Offer :
