About The Position

Manipulating patient transfer equipment

Continual standing and walking

Recognizing emergency situations

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication

Description :

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for obtaining optimal image quality and exceptional service.

Responsible for all aspects of CT Imaging procedures requiring a sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology.

Independently selects and modifies technical factors to produce optimum CT scans while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort a top priority.

Performs all duties and responsibilities consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Must have knowledge of manipulating patient transfer equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.

Capable of recognizing emergency situations and adapting to a fast-paced daily workload.

Effective communication with patients and team members is essential.

Knowledge of CTA and Perfusion is preferred.

Working in an Emergency Department setting with trauma, stroke, CTAs, and perfusion patients.

Must have the ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Basic computer knowledge is required.
