POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Regional Project Manager is responsible for leading all non-customer facing capital and operational projects in the Americas Region, with project values ranging from $5M to $30M. This role ensures successful planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects including facility expansions, equipment installations, automation initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and process improvements.

The Senior Regional Project Manager will coordinate across multiple sites (Catoosa, Knoxville, Service) and functions (Engineering, Operations, Finance, SCM, Safety) to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification, while aligning with regional and global business strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead regional portfolio of non-customer facing projects ($5M–$30M scale).
  • Develop and manage project charters, budgets, schedules, and risk plans.
  • Oversee direct reports managing site-level project execution in Catoosa, Knoxville, and Service.
  • Ensure compliance with EH&S, regulatory, and corporate standards.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, SCM, and Finance to ensure project requirements align with capacity, cost, and strategic growth plans.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to SVP Manufacturing and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and standardize project processes.

    • Financial Management

  • Own project budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting.
  • Ensure ROI / NPV analysis and post-project reviews are conducted.
  • Drive accountability for cost control and efficiency.

    • Continuous Improvement & Strategy

  • Standardize non-customer facing project management practices across the Americas region.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers across multiple sites.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and modernization of facilities and equipment.

    • All other duties assigned.

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (PMP certification strongly preferred; Master’s a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience managing capital or operational projects in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale ($5M–$30M) projects from concept through delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Ability to lead multi-site teams and coordinate across functions and geographies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
