Seasonal Full Time Position In Mobile, Al

This position is responsible for driving a Salvation Army vehicle in order to transport passengers to and from Salvation Army activities and / or kettle / angel tree sites. Pick-up and deliver donated items and other supplies. Ring bell at assigned location.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drives a Salvation Army vehicle during the Christmas season in order to transport passengers to and from Salvation Army activities or sites
  • Picks up and delivers miscellaneous items and donated goods, as needed
  • Ability to drive a passenger vehicle ensuring the safety of passengers and protection of the vehicle. Observes traffic signs and regulations.
  • Logs all mileage on standard forms. Fuels vehicles in accordance with standards
  • Ability to relate to the general public in a polite, friendly manner

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

  • Work involves driving a vehicle where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with long distance trips or heavy traffic.

    • What We Are Looking For In You :

  • Valid State Driver's License required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years' experience operating an automotive vehicle or any equivalent combination of training and experience
