Position – Machine Shop Technician / CNC Operator – Lathing Dept

Job Location – Milwaukee, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift, 7am-4pm

Starting Pay – $52,000

Required Education – High School Diploma / GED

Required Experience – At least 3 years of experience

We are seeking a motivated Machine Shop Technician / CNC Operator to join the Lathing Department. This role is designed for individuals interested in learning the trade, working closely under an experienced Quality Manager who is planning to retire soon—presenting a rare apprenticeship opportunity.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate and load parts on pre-programmed CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
• Perform manual lathe machining and quality checks on finished parts.
• Cut metal parts using a bandsaw and operate grinding / sanding equipment.
• Take precise measurements using calipers to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain organization and efficiency in the workstation.

Candidates will receive on-the-job training, but prior experience in a machine shop, metal testing, or related technical education is required. The position requires attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently on your feet for the duration of the shift.
