Qualifications

  • Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years of industry experience maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, and installing Honeywell Distributed Control Systems.
  • Full term of experience must include : maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, installing virtual systems with a high degree of precision in coordination of specialty Honeywell proprietary networks.
  • Approximately 75% domestic travel required across 17 U.S. States.
  • Telecommuting permitted when not at customer site.

  • Responsibilities

  • Lead successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions.
  • Make improvements to training guides and documentation.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment.
  • Train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment.
  • Support the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems.
  • Support revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development.
  • Support cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment.
  • Act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the audit, design, and solution of control sequences and solutions with customers.
  • Validate customer requests. Educate customer and field technicians.
  • Write documentation used by field technicians.
  • Ensure Right and Fast Delivery. Inspect for Quality.
  • Install or Repair Work Orders. Provide Customer Support.
  • Mentor and Train Jr. Field Technicians and Service Representatives.
